Translated “tail of the fox” due to the unique shape these grape clusters develop, Coda di Volpe is persistent and still refreshing, providing sanctity from the heat. Featuring a subtle herbaceous aroma, Coda di Volpe layers the palate with tart citrus and clean grape flavor.

Gelso Moro has a deep ruby red color and intense bouquet with hints of plum, dark cherry, and over ripened red fruit. Aged for four months in oak barrels, this wine is well balanced with a persistent aroma and clean finish. Fantastic paired with pasta, lightly roasted meats, and game birds.

Fantastic structure, earth tones, blackberry, plum, and sprinkled with peppery notes. Beautiful bouquet of raspberry, tobacco and chocolate.This wine was personally sought in the hills of Chianti after the current importer was blessed by her transcendent experience with this sangiovese in a small Tuscan bar. Also rumor has it this wine is a favorite of Johnny Depp.

- Mandola Pinot Grigio
Privately labeled for the Mandola Estate by Giocato Vineyards, this pinot grigio is atypical in that it has depth. The palate features crisp, fresh citrus and cleansing notes of tart pineapple and cucumber with a viscous finish.
- Mandola Vermentino 2010
Medium-full bodied white wine harvesting a delicate nose of wild flower and lemon. Round with subtle fruit and underlying notes of honey that is well balanced by vermentino’s distinct minerality.
- Mandola Montepulciano d’ Abruzzo 2010
Mandola Montepulciano is privately labeled by the La Querica Estate in Abruzzo, a small self-sustaining winery over looking the Adriatic Sea. The wine displays a striking, dark ruby hue and a nose of ripe dark cherry and plum. The palate is well balanced by notes of spice and leather with a pleasant layer of oak and lightly tannic finish.

Mandola Chianti possesses intense dried cherry and floral character typical of sangiovese, but is a firm and well balanced expression due to high quality production. Privately labeled by Fattoria Bibbiani, Mandola Chianti drinks well alone or engaged thanks to juicy tannins and soft finish.

Produced and bottled exclusively for the Mandola Estate, McPherson Cellars has executed a beautiful interpretation of sangiovese. Light and approachable with a wonderful floral driven nose, Stellare is rich in cherry and plum on the palate with underlying notes of tobacco and cedar.
